Brian has been performing comedy for almost 10 years now, starting in Townsville, he has since gone on to do professional shows for all the major brands operating in Queensland (Sit-Down Comedy Club, Based Comedy and Kings of Comedy). Brian always takes the show to a new level when he’s performing, covering subjects from being a disabled man to dating, working hard, funny police encounters and smoking all sorts of fun things. Born and raised in Adelaide, Leigh Qurban commenced his stand up comedy career in 2011 and quickly rose through the ranks featuring and hosting with his observational, relatable and, at times quirky, material. In 2015 he was awarded the Adelaide Comedy “Peer’s Choice” Award and in the following year took out Adelaide Comedian of the year. Frequently touring around the country, Leigh has taken sold shows to the Perth, Adelaide Fringe and the Melbourne International Comedy Festival whilst being awarded the 2018 Kings of Comedy Comedian of the Year Award and in the same year being crowned a winner in the One Cover “One Thing Comedy Competition”. 2019 saw him continue to tour the festival circuit and perform to 2000 people at the Adelaide International Comedy Gala whilst in 2020 Leigh sold out multiple runs of his Adelaide Fringe festival show "Crate Expectations" to rave reviews.
