What is Kings of Comedy?

Kings of Comedy is Australia’s premier stand-up comedy club, operating across five states. We showcase the best in comedy talent, from seasoned performers to rising stars, in a fun and entertaining atmosphere.

What does your Dinner & Show Package Include?

Our Dinner & Show packages include a single course ‘pub’ styled meal. We have Gluten Free, Vegan and Vegetarian options. Please see our menu examples below. This option also includes a free drink per person (which varies accross our locations)

Where are your shows held?

We operate in multiple cities across Australia, including Melbourne, Sydney, Gold Coast, Adelaide and Hobart. Check our Tickets for a full list of venues and upcoming shows near you.

How often do you run shows?

Melbourne shows run weekly, while other states host shows 1-2 times a month. We’re also working to make Gold Coast and Sydney shows more regular.

Are there age restrictions for your shows?

All of our shows are 18+ due to the nature of the content and licensed venues. We strive to deliver a proper date night experience away from distractions like mobile phones and children. Come let your hair down and let’s create an experience together you won’t soon forget.

What is included in a VIP Ticket?

VIP tickets include premium seating, a bottle of wine, or the option to swap for two basic spirits each. These tickets offer an elevated comedy experience in the most sought-after seats. (Sydney Only)

How Does the Voucher Booking System Work?

Our voucher booking system is designed to be simple and hassle-free! Here’s how it works:

If you request a date where we have an available show, your booking is automatically confirmed—easy as that!

If you request a date where we don’t have a show or if the show has already sold out, your request will be submitted as a booking request instead.

If you don’t hear back from us straight away, don’t stress—it just means we don’t have shows on that date.

In most cases, we’ll automatically book you into the next available show and send you a confirmation. If that date doesn’t work for you, just let us know, and we’ll reschedule to a more suitable date.

Do you offer group bookings or corporate events?

Yes, we cater to group bookings, private functions, and corporate events. Whether it’s a team-building night or a special occasion, we can tailor a comedy experience to suit your needs. Contact via our inquiry form here on our website or email [email protected]

Can I book a comedian for my event?

Absolutely! We have a roster of talented comedians available for private gigs, corporate events, and more. Complete our Corporate Events form make an inquiry.

Do your shows include food and drinks?

Some venues offer dinner and show packages, and all venues with dinner options cater to dietary requirements, including vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free. Drinks are available for purchase at the venue, we also have an intermission to allow bathroom breaks and a drink/smoke break. Check the show details for specific options or contact the venue directly.

What happens if I can’t attend my booked show?

Tickets are generally non-refundable, but instead of letting them go to waste, why not send a friend or family member who could use a good laugh? Just let us know who’s coming in your place. Please note, last-minute cancellations don’t give others a chance to book in, and we hate seeing empty seats at our shows—it’s a real buzzkill for the comedians (and the crowd)

Why Don’t You Announce Lineups?

We love keeping our lineups a fun surprise! Part of the Kings of Comedy experience is showing up, grabbing a drink, and enjoying a night of top-tier laughs without knowing exactly who’s taking the stage. This keeps the energy fresh and exciting for both audiences and comedians.

That said, if you’ve been to our shows before and want to avoid seeing the same acts, just send us an email—we’ll be happy to let you know who’s on. We strive to mix up our lineups regularly, though we do book some of our interstate comedians more frequently.

Please read the Terms & Conditions outlined below:

Conditions of Entry Adults only, 18+ years old. Photo ID may be requested.

Please set your phone to silent or switched off during performances.

By nature of the event as a live stand-up comedy show, please be respectful to the comedians and other guests by minimising unrelated noise during performances. We like hearing you laugh, but please refrain from stage-time conversations. Use the time before the show, during the intermission, or afterwards instead. We want to make it the best show for you and the other people in the room.

You may be photographed while at the venue. Some of these photos are used for marketing purposes. If you would not like your photo taken, please inform staff.

Recording of performances is prohibited without prior consent of the Kings of Comedy management.

Individuals or groups may be removed or refused entry if inappropriately behaved, at the discretion of the Kings of Comedy management.

Tickets are refundable, up until 24 hours before the show. Cancellations less than 24 hours before the show are not transferable (to another event) or refundable. (You can however send someone else in your place)
